Me and my Fairy Houses~

Take a peek at my past work: Fairy Houses

apurplehouseFantasy and fairy tale stories fascinate and inspire me to create my one-of-a-kind indoor woodland fairy houses.

fairy-safra ~The human spirit is a funny thing is it not? You can find joy is the simplest or most complex things in life.

I have a love for reading paranormal and fantasy romance books, poetry, and fairy tales. I also love watching scifi television and movies. They are escapes for me. My childhood, however, isn't one of fairy tales. As a survivor, I have found that reading, writing, and creating is a great theraputic escape.

There are many fairy stories in the forest of Woodland Fairy Village. The sometimes eerie forest faeries, the fairy shops, the fairy houses and more, are what I strive to bring to life in my work. When I am creating and writing, joy finds me. It is my greatest hope that through my work, others find joy as well.

~Personal bio: I have 2 wonderful fully grown children and live in Michigan with my husband, daughter and grandson. I have a Mare-cave where I go to create and have time alone with my imagination. It's a scary thing. =P

I write fantasy romance using the pseudonym: Madison Thorne Grey

Mirror of Blackmor series:

Book one: Sorrah

~My fairy house secrets: In the majority of all my fairy houses you will see some form of reading material such as a miniature magazine or hand-crafted book or journal. I have made miniature images from my original fairy paintings. I put woodland-type frames around the miniature images and hang them in some of my fairy houses as decoration.

I also paint a woodland scene on the bottom of all my fairy house art displays after they are purchased. =)

Favorite quotes:

"It's easy to look at people and make quick judgments about them, their present and their pasts, but you'd be amazed at the pain and tears a single smile hides.
What a person shows to the world is only one tiny facet of the iceberg hidden from sight. And more often than not, it's lined with cracks and scars that go all the way to the foundation of their soul." ~ Acheron, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Dark Hunter series

"Sometimes in life, from out of a myriad of prosaic decisions like what to eat and where to sleep and how to dress, a true crossroads is revealed. In these moments, when the fog of relative irrelevancy lifts and fate rolls out a demand for free will, there is only left or right – no option of four-by-fouring into the underbrush between two paths, no negotiating with the choice that has been presented. You must answer the call and pick your way. And there is no reverse. " ~ Lover Avenged, J.R. Ward, Black Dagger Brotherhood series

"You're not half the male you could be because of what was done to you. You're twice what anyone else is because you survived." J.R.Ward, Lover Mine

“We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are.” Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix , J.K. Rowling

“Few humans see fairies or hear their music, but many find fairy rings of dark grass, scattered with toadstools, left by their dancing feet.” ~ Judy Allen
