Faery furniture - Woodland Fairy Village Style
I have recently added some fairy furniture. Would work in a indoor fairy house or fairy display. I have also had some people request some for display in their girls rooms. Currently I am working on:
* 2 special commision projects - Fairy Houses for play - complete with some handmade fairy furniture but left with enough room for their own personal touches and miniatures. It is so fund to shop for miniatures. Definitely for children over 8 yrs old.
* I am working on three faeries that are a bit larger than the ones I have up on Etsy right now.
* Acorn fairy houses - A popular fairy house that I had created last year. Although no two are alike as my fairy houses are all 'One of a Kind' these fairy houses are a favorite of many.
* Fairy tale houses- one of my favorites to create. Some of my new designs are inspired by:
Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Lil' Red Riding Hood and Cinderella
I am also beginning to design some more Halloween inspired houses however, I tend to make them applicable so that they can be used all year round.

Fairy Garden day!
A few weeks ago I put together a quick fairy garden with my assistant, aka my grandson. ;)
I decided to use a large barrel planter but then used another planter for the overflow. I bought a few plants, gathered some rocks, an outdoor friendly ceramic mushroom, a bird bath, fencing, garden tools, bridge and even a fire pit.
I purchased some mushroom stakes and a few gnomes as well. Miniatures are so fun!
A pinwheel attracts fairies =)
Success! I have already added some super cute outdoor fairies to each planter. Next year we plan on making a much larger enchanting fairy and gnome forest garden. The possibilities are endless.
There is an article up on Fairy Villages about where to find fairy garden supplies. There are some really great inexpensive fairy garden supply links and some ideas about using household items in your fairy garden.

Here are a few new Earthen Faeries that I have recently added to my Etsy shop - Woodland Fairy Village. I will eventually get a shop going right here on my website. But for now take a look at some of my latest fairy creations: Pic one: Laura and the Magic Mirror

Meet Earthen Faery: Rose
Rose was one of my very first faeries that I created and is very special to me. She has brown wire extremities with bits of paper clay to her legs. Her head and spine are made from polymer clay. Her eyes are black and shiny just as all of my woodland faeries. Her botanical body is covered in real miniature rose petals as well as her hands. Rose lives in the woodlands and when she found this rose she was fascinated by it.
Rose has just sold in my Etsy shop but I think I will be doing many more flower inspired Earthen faeries.
